RADICAL THEORY TIME!
So at the end of the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 video we see a quick peek of a conversation between two people that are believed to be young Xehanort and Eraqus. They discuss about the Keyblade War, Lost Masters, and a prophecy that dictates that the light will expire in that land.
What’s interesting about this is the exchange between the two, how the man on the left presumed to be Master Xehanort is so curious and cocky while the one on the right(Eraqus) is somewhat interested yet worried. If you read on your BBS and DDD then you’d know that only a select number of people know of the Keyblade War. Those who know are only Keyblade Wielders and Masters so it’s safe to assume that the knowledge is forbidden and secret.
What’s curious is the tone and acting of Eraqus as Xehanort explains the prophecy, as if he KNEW it but was pretending not to care worried he might kindle Xehanort’s curiosity.
Ultimately the last quote reveals that Xehanort knew that Eraqus learned the prophecy as he smugly responds with “But you knew that. Didn’t you.” We get to see the beginning of their strained friendship and the fall of Master Xehanort.
But what’s the theory? Glad you stuck this long!
We know there’s going to be a clash between the 13 Seekers of Darkness and 7 Guardians of Light but who ARE the 13 Seekers?! Well we don’t know BUT we do know the following are: Master Xehanort, Xemnas, Ansem, Young Xehanort, Terranort, Saïx and Xigbar. That’s 7, but there were 5 MORE unmasked as see in DDD. Who are they?
Well I believe those 5 COULD be the 5 Foretellers from Kingdom Hearts X(Chi) the Keyblade Wielders who led the 5 Factions during the age of Fairy Tales.
But wait?! Weren’t they good guys? They were trying to prevent the fall of light so why would they work with Master Xehanort? Well just look at their Keyblades, their key chains posses an Eye of Darkness, a symbol of connection to the darkness or perhaps Xehanort.
But WAIT! Isn’t the new Organization 13 made of incarnations of Master Xehanort? According to Young Xehanort yes, but both Xigbar and Saïx are Vessels so they count as incarnations. As for the Foretellers, their true connection to Master Xehanort is unknown but we do know he CAME across the forbidden knowledge of the Lost Masters and the Prophecy through some OUTSIDE source that wasn’t Eraqus or their Master. The Master trusted Eraqus with that knowledge but not Xehanort.
The CONNECTIONS are there but they are unknown as they came to be. So far Master Xehanort’s ambitions touch EVERY game, that’s why it’s called the Xehanort Saga so technically X(Chi) falls under that.
And don’t forget, there were 6 Apprentice but only 5 received the Foreteller’s Script, so what happened to that apprentice? He/she wasn’t worthy of the book of prophecy just how Xehanort wasn’t told of the legend.
I suspect he has a connection to Master Xehanort. A Recusant.
